Abstract: This report maps the pathways of a sample of young Australians in their transition from school to work. It focuses on the pathways for those who do not obtain a university degree or TAFE associate diploma or above (or who are not enrolled for such qualifications in the seventh post-school year). By focusing on this group the analysis concentrates on those for whom getting a job was a key concern immediately upon leaving school.
