Abstract: review of how fathers can be supported to balance their employment and family commitments I was delighted.Despite best intentions, reconciling work and family life is still too often seen as an exclusively maternal issue.The academic evidence I have reviewed and the interviews I have conducted suggest that the tide is beginning to turn; parents, politicians and employer and employee organisations are increasingly bringing fathers into the frame.
