Critical O(N) models in 6−ε dimensions

Abstract: The structure of O(N) symmetric scalar field theories with quartic interaction in higher dimensions (4 < d < 6) is studied in detail. Strong evidence is found that, at least for large enough N, interacting unitary O(N) symmetric conformal field theories exist in this dimensional range, in particular in five dimensions.
