Abstract: Two-body pion-radiating and weak decays of light axial-vector mesons and the $\ensuremath{\rho}$ are studied as an application of the Dyson-Schwinger equations. Models based on the rainbow-ladder truncation are capable of providing a good description, and yield the correct sign and magnitude of the ${a}_{1}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\rho}\ensuremath{\pi}$ and ${b}_{1}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\omega}\ensuremath{\pi}D/S$ ratios, with no additional mechanism necessary.
