Oportunidad y problemática de las infraestructuras logísticas en ámbitos urbanos: el caso de Valladolid

Abstract: The paper informs us that due to the developing of the high velocity railway network, Valladolid is going toconsolidate its function as a connecting nucleus as within the general transport infrastructure of the NorthWestern zone of the Iberian Peninsula. This will offer many advantages for the locating there of a multimodallogistic platform —be it in Valladolid or in the villages thereabouts— that could well compete with thelogistic infrastructure of other Spanish regions. This platform could likewise contribute to solving theindustrial and transport problems of the city itself.
