Abstract: Introduction: Diabetes mellitus type 2 (DM2) is a metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia and cardiovascular diseases, which can be controlled with exercise, diet control and drug treatment. Objective: To determine the mechanisms by which the strength training causes metabolic changes and cell phones that can act positively to patients with type 2 diabetes. Literature Review: Recent research has shown that strength training improves glycemic control, insulin resistance, gain muscle mass and reducing body lipid composition in addition to acting directly on the quality of life of sufferers. The aim of this study was to investigate the mechanisms by which strength training causes metabolic changes and cell phones that can act positively to patients with type 2 diabetes. Conclusion: We can conclude that strength training is an important tool for the control, treatment and prevention of type 2 diabetes mellitus, as it promotes an increase in sensitivity to insulin, increases glucose uptake by muscle, reduces lipid levels serum (such as LDL and triglycerides), and enhance muscle strength and gain lean body mass, through intracellular signaling of insulin and GLUT-4 and via PI3q/Akt.
