Abstract: We present recent results concerning the searches for light Higgs-like particles in the decay $Υ(3S) \to γA^{0}, A^{0}\to μ^{+}μ^{-}$ as well as for the lepton flavour violation in the decays $Υ(3S) \to e^{\pm}τ^{\mp},μ^{\pm}τ^{\mp}$ and $τ\to 3l (l=e,μ)$ with the BaBar experiment.
