Abstract: The present paper seeks to contribute to the literature by investigating the impact of quality of life variables on the migration of the elderly. The uniqueness of this paper rests primarily on its concern with a particular age group of migrants, the “elderly,” defined here as “all persons 65 years of age or older.”
