Abstract: Quantitative properties, such as two grams mass, have certain structural features that other sorts of properties lack. This paper explores that prospects for accounting for the structure of quantity within a broadly Lewisian framework. It argues that, within this framework, the most satisfying theory of quantity employs higher-order relations, and that these higher-order relations are perfectly natural. One consequence of this view is that the set of perfectly natural properties and relations do not comprise a minimal supervenience base.
