Abstract: Since putting issue 65 (aka: "Fabulous!Divas, Part 1") "to bed," as they say, there has been quite a bit of diva activity to report.Originally, the introduction for issue 65 was bookended by an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary in all her glory and the poster for Rufus Wainwright's "Judy Garland at Carnegie Hall" concert. The first of Wainwright's "people" we contacted couldn't have been nicer about assuring us that we could have permission to reproduce the poster. Then, about a week before Duke put the issue in press, we received word from other folks in Wainwright's camp telling us that under no circumstances were we to reproduce the poster, with no explanation given for this change of heart.I do not think Wainwright gave the stop-the-presses order (he was on a world tour at the time), but I now think that I need to add "publicist diva" and "legal diva" to issue 65's list of careers available to divas in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries.I have, however, learned a thing or two about making an end run from the Introduction: The Good, the Bad, and the Fabulous; or, The Diva Issue Strikes Back
