Abstract: For them to become an alternative to more traditional forms of public transport, public bicycle systems need to be efficiently managed and aimed towards sustainable mobility. A methodology is proposed to achieve this by modelling the standard of quality perceived by users of these systems through the consideration of systematic variations in their perceptions. Ordered Probit models have been calibrated to quantify the change in overall service quality perception when improvements are made to the individual attributes defining it.
