Endoscopic Therapy of Bleeding from Radiation Enteritis with Hypertonic Glucose Spray

Abstract: Non-variceal and non-ulcerative bleeding in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, such as radiation enteritis with active and extensive oozing, is common, and management of these conditions can be challenging. We describe the first case in the literature to use hypertonic glucose spray in radiation enteritis-associated diffuse mucosal bleeding.
