Astrophysical constraints on the bumblebee model

Abstract: In this work the bumblebee model for spontaneous Lorentz symmetry breaking is considered in the context of spherically symmetric astrophysical bodies. A discussion of the modified equations of motion is presented and constraints on the parameters of the model are perturbatively obtained.
