Abstract: Nutritional stress will arise when the intake of one or more nutrients is insufficient to meet the requirements. It may also occur when the intake is excessive, but for this to be so the amount absorbed from the intestine must also be more than the body needs, and the individual must be unable to excrete the excess in the urine or to metabolize it.My main concern today is with differences in the response of the sexes to deficiencies and excesses of total energy.
