Mass‐Productions of Vertically Aligned Extremely Long Metallic Micro/Nanowires Using Fiber Drawing Nanomanufacturing
Year: 2008
Type: article
Abstract: Vertically aligned metallic micro/nanowires are produced by uniquely combining a novel fiber drawing technique and advanced materials, where the size reduction is achieved by repeating a simple draw-cut-stack process. This method can control the diameter, length and interwire spacing over a large range, and provide ordered materials at low-cost for a range of applications.
