Abstract: In this issue of Blood, Perez-Garcia et al report the important discovery of an inherited germline mutation in the gene encoding the SH2B adaptor protein 3 (SH2B3) in a consanguineous family affected with autoimmune disorders and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).(1)
