Dr. Levitt received grant support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH)/the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and is the principal investigator (PI) at Stanford for the Lung Injury Prevention Study with Aspirin (LIPS-A) (Dr. Gajic is the PI of the study). Dr. Levitt has a NIH-funded Career Development Award to study the early identification and treatment of acute lung injury. Dr. Levitt received support for travel to attend planning meetings for LIPS-A.
