Abstract: This study presents a geoarchaeological investigation conducted in occupation deposits of the Neolithic site at Paliambela, in Northern Greece, which unusually comprises both a low tell and a flat/extended component.The analysis reveals relative sedimentary and stratigraphic similarity between the deposits broadly indicating similarities in the overall formational characteristics between the two parts of the site.
