Abstract: This workshop discussed the problems with lexicon development in the context of MUC-style application programs. The topics ranged from general issues in lexicon portability (Cahill), to Japanese lexicons (Mauldin) and problems encountered with MRDs in sublanguage domains (Pustejovsky).
