Direct measurement of sorption/desorption kinetics in reversed-phase chromatographic systems
Year: 1997
Type: article
Abstract: The role of adsorption/desorption kinetics in chromatographic band broadening was first addressed by Giddings in his earliest theoretical work. Relaxation methods (pressure-jump and temperature-jump) have been adapted to directly measure rates of solute sorption/desorption at reversed-phase chromatographic interfaces. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
