Abstract: Erratum to: Clin Orthop Relat Res DOI 10.1007/s11999-013-3045-0 In the Methods section, the ICD-9-CM procedure codes from the Part A files of the Medicare Data set were incorrect as published. The corrected version should read: Revision surgery during the study period was identified by the occurrence of the ICD-9-CM procedure codes 81.55 or 00.80-00.84 from the Part A files of the Medicare Data set. The authors regret this error.
