Abstract: The infinite-range-Ising-spin-glass model is analysed using a new diagrammatic approach. The Sherrington-Kirkpatrick solution is regained in the paramagnetic region and the Bray-Moore soft mode is obtained in the spin-glass region. A possible order parameter characterizing the phase-transition at the Almeida-Thouless instability line is proposed.
