A Concepção de História na Teologia Católica do Oitocentos
Year: 2010
Type: article
Abstract: In the 19th century, the Catholic theology communicated with the modern conceptions of historical experience and knowledge in a different and at times contradictory way. This article aims at reconstructing two of these re-signifying practices promoted by the School of Tübingen and the Roman School, highlighting some of its implications for the process of dogmatization of faith sanctioned by the First Vatican Council and for the apologetic and allegorical setting established by such discourses about faith.
