Abstract: In the title mol-ecule, C24H21NO2, the dihedral angle between the carbazole ring system [with a maximum deviation of 0.052 (2) Å] and the benzene ring is 38.6 (1)°. In the crystal, weak bifurcated (C-H)2⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into chains along [100].
