Abstract: The effects of $\mathrm{CP}$ violation on the supersymmetric electroweak correction to the $\ensuremath{\rho}$ parameter are investigated. To avoid the EDM constraints, we require that $\mathrm{arg}(\ensuremath{\mu})<{10}^{\ensuremath{-}2}$ and the nonuniversal trilinear couplings ${A}_{f}{=(0,0,A}_{0})$ and also assume that gluinos are heavier than 400 GeV. The $\mathrm{CP}$ phase ${\ensuremath{\varphi}}_{t}=\mathrm{arg}{(A}_{0})$ leads to a large enhancement of the relative mass splittings between ${t}_{2}$ and ${b}_{L}({t}_{1}),$ which in turn reduces the one-loop contribution of the top squark and bottom squark to $\ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\rho}.$ For small $\mathrm{tan}\ensuremath{\beta},$ such a $\mathrm{CP}$ violating effect is prominent. We also study how much the two-loop gluon and gluino contributions are affected by the $\mathrm{CP}$ phase. The possible contributions to the $\ensuremath{\rho}$ parameter arising from the Higgs sector with $\mathrm{CP}$ violation are discussed.
