Abstract: The appearance energies and kinetic energy spectra of energetic fragment protons and deuterons produced in the dissociative photoionization of and have been measured using synchrotron radiation within the energy range 20-45 eV. Measurements were made both parallel and perpendicular to the E vector of the radiation and dissociation mechanisms and pathways for several of the inner valence states involved have been determined.
