Human Embryoid Bodies Containing Nano‐ and Microparticulate Delivery Vehicles
Year: 2008
Type: article
Abstract: Differentiation of human embryonic stem cells is affected by the incorporation of growth-factor-releasing particles in embryoid bodies. Incorporation of these particles has a minimal effect on cell viability and proliferation but a large impact on differentiation. The figure shows the distribution of TRITC-labeled microparticles in embryoid bodies, as evaluated by confocal microscopy.
