Abstract: One-pot sequential organocatalytic polymerization reactions of 5-alkyl δ-lactones and monosubstituted epoxides were carried out using the base→acid “catalyst switch” strategy, leading to well-defined polyether–polyester block copolymers with various alkyl substituents.
