Direct Patterning: Hydrogel‐Mediated Direct Patterning of Conducting Polymer Films with Multiple Surface Chemistries (Adv. Mater. 18/2014)
Year: 2014
Type: article
Abstract: A simple yet multifaceted approach to create patterned films of conducting polymers with various geometries and surface chemistries is presented by S. Majd and co-workers on page 2782. In this approach, electropolymerization through hydrogel stamps enables micropatterning of conducting polymers with multiple chemistries in a single-step and solution-free process. These patterned polymer films are able to encapsulate bioactive molecules such as antibodies or proteins, and can serve as a sensing platform.
