Abstract: Cancer is one of leading diseases causing death, which requires long-term treatment, where the caregiving continues in house of patient and doesn't end in clinic, and the effects of cancer is also seriously felt by caregivers of patients besides the patients' own. As well as the patient's life changed by diseases, also the lives of individual(s) being responsible for caregiving are affected. Caregivers need to establish balance between their own needs and requests and the responsibilities of caregiver role. Depending on disease period, the situation of patient and the prolongation of care-duration, the quality of life in caregivers are affected negatively, this effect reflects on patient obtaining care negatively. Support of health professionals to patients and their caregivers would provide positive effects on quality of life. This review was written with the aim of investigating the quality of life in caregivers of patients struggling with cancer which requires a difficult care process.
