Abstract: Caspase3) and development related genes (E-Cadherin, ZO-1 and IGF-?), the blastocysts from DIO females had significant lower cell number and higher apoptosis rate.Obesity only significantly up-regulated Atf4 and Gadd45g genes expression on post-warming 3h eight-cell embryos, but has no effect on genes expression, cell number and apoptosis rate of blastocysts previously vitrified. To limit the role of chance, the experiments were conducted in a defined laboratory setting with the proper controls, and the animals were randomly assigned to each experimental group. Moreover, a P-value of , 0.05 was chosen to determine whether the differences observed between the groups were statistically significant.Limitations, reason for caution: The results obtained may not fully extrapolate to humans. Also, as we did not perform embryos transfer on the pseudopregnant mice, so we only demonstrated mice maternal obesity does not aggravate vitrification injury on genes expression level.Wider implications of the findings: The mice maternal obesity reduced organelles function of embryonic cell, changed embryo genes expression and lowed embryo in vitro development rate.Higher lipid content in embryo caused by mice maternal obesity does not aggravate embryo vitrification injury, in contrast to the cattle and porcine, the reason may due to the different lipid content in embryos of different species which is much higher in embryos of cattle and porcine compared to mice embryo.Study funding/competing interest(s): This study was supported
