Abstract: During the 1985-1986 winter, five fairly scattered individual inhumations burials, three of which are definitely chalcolithic, were excavated in the Boucle du Vaudreuil, a meander of the lower Seine. Two of them (3 and 4) could not be dated. Grave goods of the beaker type accompanied burials 1 and 2, in which the skeletons were lying in a flexed position. Burial 5, which had no associated artifacts, consisted of an adult and two perinatal children. Radiocarbon dating, carried out on the bones from burials 2 and 5, enables us to situate them chronologically (GIF 7456 : 3760 ± 90 BP ; GIF 7457 : 3880 ± 70 BP).
