Abstract: The analytic extension of Schwarzschild spacetime describes both the top and bottom of an Einstein-Rosen bridge, on each side of which spacetime is asymptotically flat. The normal definitions of energy in these asymptotic regions are shown to differ by a sign change. A process which exploits this so that each side appears to gain what they call energy is discussed. Apparent contradictions are resolved.
