Abstract: When arguing a case, Abraham Lincoln is said to have told the story of a young farm boy finding his father on the porch and telling him, ‘Father, the hired man is in the hayloft with sis. His pants are down, her dress is up, and they’re about to pee on the hay’. The father calmly replied, ‘Son, you have all the facts right, but you have reached the wrong conclusion’.
