Circulating Tumor Cells: Capturing Cancer: Emerging Microfluidic Technologies for the Capture and Characterization of Circulating Tumor Cells (Small 32/2015)

Year: 2015
Type: article
Abstract: Capturing circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from human peripheral blood with emerging microfluidics technologies has great potential for cancer diagnosis and treatment. The review on page 3850 by W. Chen and co-workers summarizes the emerging micro/nanotechnologies for CTC capture, characterization, and application, as well as future directions in cancer research.
