Abstract: A fruitful synthesis: A facile and robust approach is reported for synthesizing raspberry-like core/shell biocomposites (see image) by the co-assembly of bionanoparticles with poly(4-vinylpyridine). This method allows the formation of hierarchically assembled composite colloids using both spherical and rodlike bionanoparticles as building blocks.
