Abstract: It is well known that children can change the destiny of the country. Therefore, to minimize negative consequences caused by the juvenile delinquency has great importance for the future. But it is insufficient to consider only legal aspects for this reason it is necessary to investigate all the psychological and sociological factors that lead to juvenile delinquency. In this study, factors that led the boys to be convicted in delinquency and to get involved in delinquency were investigated by CHAID analysis in the province of Ankara. The results of the analysis suggest that the variable that best describes the delinquency of children was found out to be the level of education. The results indicate the child's social environment as the second most important factor. The use of addictive substances can start with the negative impact of the social environment in which the child lives. Another important factor is the economic situation of the child's family. Children who grew up economically poor conditions stend towards more delinquency
