Abstract: This discussion of spatial model building will be restricted in principle to classes of simultaneous linear models, but will touch on one conditional specification.The models, in their final forms, will cover only first-order spatial dependence, a limitation that is to some extent mitigated by the structure of joint dependency posited in the simultaneous scheme.
