Wood Extract of Secang, vitamin of E and vitamin C effect against Total Antioxidant Status on mice by the aflatoxin exposure

Abstract: This study was conducted to know the effect extract wood of secang (EKS), vitamin E and vitamin C to status of antioxidant total (SAT) at mice which was aflatoxin exposure. The subject consisted of 39 tails mice, 8 weeks old with the body weight of 33 - 35 g, The experiment used Completely Randomized Design with thirteen treatment, and three replications. Result of the research showed that the aflatoxin degraded the number of status of antioxidant total (SAT) of liver of mice and, giving of Extract Wood of Secang (EKS) could slowed down degradation of number of SAT very real was better than vitamin of E and vitamin C.
