Abstract: This article makes a strong case for attempting to connect the measurement of leadership skills and entrepreneurial orientation using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) as a measurement instrument. There are other tools available such as the Entrepreneurial Quotient (EQ), the Entrepreneurial Attitude Orientation (EAO), and the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) (Huefner, Hunt, & Robinson, 1996). While each of these instruments has promise and should be further evaluated, at this stage the MBTI appears to have the greatest utility for future planned research.
