Abstract: A 74-year-old female patient with a history of coronary artery disease, hypertension and peripheral vascular disease was admitted with an upper gastrointestinal bleed. She also had a long history of rheumatoid arthritis with the characteristic features of the hands (Figure 1A). She was on minocycline for her rheumatoid arthritis for ∼8 years. Her skin examination revealed diffuse blue–green discoloration of normal tissue and scar sites of distal legs (Figure 1B). There was no scleral or mucous membrane involvement.
