Abstract: : In this paper we reflect on implementing innovation in Library and\nInformation Science education in Borås, Sweden. In our role as lecturers we meet\nstudents and through them shape the presence and the future of libraries. Also we aim to\nmatch the needs of society in times of change. The main method for higher education is\nthe courses we create and the educational methods we choose. Often the importance of\nthis is forgotten. This paper presents a course called “Project management, development\nand evaluation”. In this course we try to give students some new tools for managing\ncreativity and innovation in their future librarianship.
