Inside Back Cover: A Crystal Structure of a Functional RNA Molecule Containing an Artificial Nucleobase Pair (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 34/2015)
Year: 2015
Type: article
Abstract: With added nucleotide “letters” nucleic acids can be incorporated into RNA in a functional form. In their Communication on page 9853 ff, the Piccirilli and Benner groups joined to deliver the first molecular structure (symbolized by the “photographs” in the picture) of a functional RNA molecule built from a six nucleotide alphabet (G, A, U, C, and the artificial nucleotides Z and P).
