Quelques repères historiques sur le partenariat école-musée ou quarante ans de prémices tombées dans l'oubli

Abstract: A few landmarks in the partnership between schools and museums, the forgotten forty years of premise The school outing to the museum is a meeting of two institutions that have different tasks, specificities and modes of action. Studying the evolution of the encounter between schools and museums enabled us to show the emerging practice and questions, and shed new light on the current situation. Indeed, during successive or simultaneous visits, school groups were observed to have different conceptions of the use of museum space : an initial tendency to transform the museum, making it more school-like, progressively gave way to an approach which was more respectful of the specificities of each partner.
