Team Work Matters: Dual Inhibition Puts Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Under Siege
Year: 2014
Type: article
Abstract: Inhibitors of PI3K/mTOR and histone deacetylases (HDAC) are effective in non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). However, clinical resistance eventually ensues and combinatory therapies are sought to prevent it. Preclinical evaluation of dual PI3K/mTOR and HDAC inhibition is synergistic against NHL, paving the way for bench-to-bedside translation.
