Abstract: 1,2:5,6-Di-O-isopropylidene-3-C-undecyl-3-O-(substituted)-α-D-allofuranoses (4a-e), 1,2-Oisopropylidene-3-C-undecyl-3-O-(substituted)-α-D-allofuranoses (5a-e) and 1,2-Oisopropylidene-3-C-undecyl-3-O-methyl-6-deoxy-6-(substituted)-α-D-allofuranoses (9a-d) have been synthesized and evaluated for various in vitro cancer cell lines.In primary in vitro screening, some of them show little anti-cancer activity.
