Abstract: Paraeuphylax cubaensis, a new genus and new species of decapod, is described from the Colón Formation (Oligocene–Miocene) in the Matanzas province, Cuba. The Podophthalminae was a diverse subfamily during the \nlate Paleogene and early Neogene.
