Abstract: The present study aimed to analyze the relationship between styles and coping strategies and adherence to treatment in a group of twenty patients with chronic renal failure ends, hemodialysis Hospital Quito No. 1 of the National Police. We used a survey of adherence Ad Hoc designed by the author, Evolution Scale or COPE coping techniques (Carver, Scheire and Weintraub, 1980), personal interviews and open interviews.
