Abstract: The article examines the relationships between social actors linked to tourism in the region formed by municipalities of the states of Santa Catarina (SC) and Rio Grande do Sul (RS). These are under the influence of tourist centers Piratuba (SC) and Treze Tilias (SC). The investigative journey was conducted from the perspective of social network analysis (SNA), directed by the premise that the Recebido em 13/04/2015 Aprovado em 28/05/2015 FEGER, ABRAHAO, ETGES / CULTUR / ANO 9 No 02 JUN (2015) 30 combination between competitive and cooperative logic is a form of mobilization of territorial development, which applies particularly to the tourism phenomenon. The methodology articulated qualitative and descriptive research procedures, through which we found that the density of relationships between the actors involved in tourism in this region is poorly significant and focused on public actors. It is noteworthy that the largest range of relations between actors in the private sector occurs in municipalities where tourism is more structured.
