Barriers to care for sexual assault survivors of childbearing age: An integrative review.
Year: 2014
Type: article
Abstract: Research indicates that only a small fraction of sexual assault survivors seek comprehensive care afterward, including physical and mental health care, forensic evidence collection, victim services, and legal support. This integrative review was conducted to identify barriers that may be keeping sexual assault survivors of childbearing age from receiving such comprehensive care.
